ABOUT

Jessica commenced with Grant & Simpson in 2024. After working for four years at a well-known criminal law firm in Melbourne as a legal assistant, Jessica’s interest in her work led her to undertake studies in a Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University.

Jess returned home to Rockhampton to complete her studies and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law. Jess was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in August 2023. She also completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, prior to her law degree.

Jess is passionate about justice and being an advocate for her clients, whilst being understanding and empathic to each client’s unique requirements. Jess also regularly volunteers at the Central Queensland Community Legal Centre. Jess can assist clients in areas of law including criminal law, family law, domestic violence matters, and litigation.

In her spare time, Jess enjoys travelling to new places and relaxing by the beach with a goodbook.
